Women in Business Initiative

Together, we lift each other up

The Women in Business Initiative (WIBI) is an all-female advisory board with one goal: open doors for female business students and alumni.

WIBI board members are professional womenmany of them business owners who represent numerous industries. Our 40-seat board is filled with members who are carefully vetted before being accepted for a two-year term.

Current Initiatives

Women in Business Scholarship Fund

The Women in Business Initiative Scholarship Fund was created to support the next generation of women business leaders. We award two need and merit-based $2,000 scholarships to female students at the School of Business each academic year.

Women in Business Initiative Annual Wine Tasting Fundraiser
The Women in Business Initiative Annual Wine Tasting Event proceeds contribute to the scholarship endowment.

Thanks to tireless fundraising and dogged determination, we reached our first endowment goal of $50,000 in only two years. We continue to grow the endowment (over $100,000 and counting) through our networking fundraisers, such as our annual wine tasting event, and generous donations from entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Want to be part of our success and help other young women achieve their college and career dreams? Make a gift.
