The Professional Dress Award Program (PDAP) is open to all Mason students (undergraduate AND graduate) who meet the criteria listed below.
PDAP provides financial assistance to students who need help covering costs associated with purchasing professional attire. The program is designed to ensure that all students, regardless of financial background, have equitable access to essential professional attire that supports their career growth. PDAP offers one-time funding of $100 to secure professional clothing for students facing financial hardship. Don't let wardrobe costs hold you back-apply to PDAP and invest in your future today!
Minimum requirements
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Currently enrolled, degree-seeking student at George Mason University during the time which the costs are incurred
- Demonstration of financial hardship with associated professional attire costs
- The award must be used solely to purchase professional attire.
Application Cycle: Fall 2025
The application period will run from September 1, 2025 to September 12, 2025. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and final award determinations will be made by September 24, 2025.
