Biography

Jill Norcross joined Virginia Housing in 2020 as the Community Outreach Regional Manager for Northern Virginia. She plays a key role in Virginia Housing’s project development, community lending and relationship building initiatives that enable the state’s housing finance agency to respond to regional housing needs. Jill came to Virginia Housing after working as a consultant with nonprofit housing and faith-based organizations interested in developing affordable housing. Prior to consulting, Jill served as the Executive Director of the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers (HAND), a Program Officer with LISC, and a Presidential Management Fellow with US Department of Housing and Urban Development. She currently serves on the boards of HAND, the Northern Virginia Affordable Housing Alliance and the Reston Museum. Jill received her Masters from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and her Bachelors from James Madison University.
