Biography
Jeremy E. Plotnick is the director of minor programs for the Costello College of Business, and an instructional assistant professor in the Business Foundations Area. In the latter role he currently teaches both BUS 100: Business and Society and BUS 200: The Global Environment of Business.
Prior to his work in academia he worked in international communications consulting, public affairs and public relations for over 20 years, where he provided counsel to clients in the areas of corporate communications, issues management, change management, and organizational communications. Additionally, he has been involved in multiple crisis communication programs, as well as the development and execution of training programs in media relations and crisis communications.
Dr. Plotnick has held management positions at Burson-Marsteller, Wilson-McHenry Company and Aziam Burson-Marsteller (B-M’s affiliate in Thailand), and as the Regional Public Affairs and Communications Manager at Coca-Cola (Thailand) Limited. He holds a BA in political science from Rutgers University, a MA and PhD in international relations from Northern Illinois University and a MBA in marketing from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Management.
