Kyle Kostenko

Kyle Kostenko joins George Mason after most recently working as the assistant director of annual giving for PlayMakers Repertory Company, the professional theatre-in-residence at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At PlayMakers, Kyle was instrumental in growing the organization’s annual fund and contributed to the organization’s most successful fundraising gala in its history. Prior to his time at PlayMakers, Kyle was development director for Triad Pride Performing Arts in Greensboro, North Carolina, while also maintaining an active career as a classical musician. From 2019 to 2020, Kyle lived in Bucharest, Romania, as a Fulbright Scholar studying Romanian classical music written during the communist period. Kyle holds two degrees in music, a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. A lifelong artist, Kyle currently spends his free time working on his first novel, catching up on reading, and searching for the best cup of coffee.
