Biography
Michael Sion is a partner at Bain & Company. He works primarily with companies and financial investors in the industrial and aerospace & defense sectors. Mike joined the Washington D.C. office of Bain when it opened in 2013, and prior to that worked in Bain’s New York office. He has expertise in strategy, commercial due diligence, and M&A, with focus on commercial aerospace, government services, and defense.
Prior to joining Bain in 2008, Mike worked for DFI International, where he worked with US government clients on strategy and policy. He holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a BA in international affairs, magna cum laude, from George Washington University. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and two children.
