For years, many in government and industry have called for faster and better government adoption of technological innovation.

But as Jeff Kojac and Jerry McGinn, Ph.D. explain in Defense News, a critical finding of the Baroni Center's new Government Contracting Trends and Performance Index is that there are insufficient measurements in place to understand what is and isn't working within the sector. 

With better measurement structures in place, the defense industrial base can move faster to develop the most lethal, innovative technology to support our Armed Forces.
