Biography
An alum of Mason’s Graduate School of Business, Harun Asad is dedicated to being a catalyst for positive impact. He currently leads Genentech’s sustainability efforts, including governance, strategy, and programs in addition to being actively involved in Roche global sustainability committees, the GreenBiz Executive Network, Silicon Valley Leadership Group and other related organizations. Previously, Asad held positions in corporate sustainability, marketing, strategy and innovation with several well known companies such as Consolidated Edison, Kantar Millward Brown and AOL. He has been a longstanding adjunct professor with New York University. Among his hobbies, Asad is an advocate for plant-based nutrition and is a competitive tennis player.
