Job Title: Intern - Finance
Overview:
Acuity, Inc. is seeking candidates for an immediate Internship opportunity supporting our financial reporting for our customer within the US Department of State. This position requires a clearance which Acuity can sponsor and process.
We are looking for new talent to add to our growing team and are currently hiring additional College Interns.
Responsibilities:
- Understand Acuity’s client responsibilities.
- Review relevant documents such as existing account plans.
- Prepare and present a report that outlines findings and recommendations.
Work will be performed at the customer site in Springfield VA or remotely.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related field.
- Knowledge of and skills in financial data gathering and reporting
- Ability to gather and analyze data, form conclusions
- Ability to organize, report and present data
- Experience with Excel and reporting tools is helpful
- Experience with federal IT consulting is helpful
- Knowledge of the federal government structure is helpful
Clearance
- Secret clearance, interim clearance or US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance.
Details:
- 20 hrs a week
- Requires training onsite 8-10 hours at first. Location: Dept of State Annex, Springfield, VA
- Pay $20/hr
- Acuity will sponsor interim secret clearance and strong likelihood of it turning into a full-time position upon graduation.
